Have Your Cake Theatre are a new company who intend to write, direct, produce and design new versions of classical and Renaissance plays.

We want to come up with work which prompts us and our audience to return to the parent texts and see them in a new light, and which also entertains and engages in its own right.

Our first project, an adaptation of John Webster's tragedy The Duchess of Malfi by Bryony Markwick, will be performed at The King's Head Theatre, Islington for four weeks this September.
